You could try mixing in a little watered down wet dog food and then gradually decrease the amount you give. I used to mix in a little grated cheese to help my old dog (a Cocker Spaniel) eat his food. (I too made the same mistake in giving him people food) I even had to hand feed him for a time. Actually, I've hand fed all the dogs I've had. I hand fed my Morkies after I got them because they were nervous about the long plane ride and being in a new place. I was worried because one of the biggest things the breeder said was "make sure they eat" because small dogs get low blood sugar if they don't eat and they could die.
