I haven't been to Del Mar, but I always vacation every year in downtown San Diego (hubby and I got for a convention). We stay in the gaslamp district, and it's absolutely beautiful! So many amazing old buildings, tons of restaurants, clubs... and you can even catch a baseball game as the Padre's stadium is right there as well. San Diego is a fantastic place to vacation! |
