Yes, you should call the Oasis and talk to them..I have one of their newsletter somewhere on my desk but I can't find it right now. This sanctuary is about an hour from Tucson so it is warm. The birds at the Oasis are there forever...they are not adopted out.
I can see the woman who runs it...but for the life of me I cannot remember her name...boy I hate when that happens.

That's not likely..hahaha. Actually, I do think P*&% has done a lot of good in some areas but have major disagreements on some things they do. I am very concerned with the issues of factory farming and loss of wild habitat and I don't think it's extremist to be humane.
I will contact Oasis, at least to talk to them. I'm in no hurry to 'get rid of' Floyd and want to make sure I make the best decision possible for him. I do know that not all sanctuaries are the same and I bet Oasis could at least give me some guidance.
