Dogs now days are nothing like a wolf. They have been domesticated for so long and bred down, out, and every which way so much, they are in no way anything like their ancesters, therefore they can eat differently. No studies have ever been done on dog nutrition and what they need and don't need. All I can say is what works for my dogs, and what I've seen work for many, many others.  | It does say human grade food, and it does not have greasy stuff. It's baked and more like little cookies. There is no rancid geese in it.
