I would put a cool cloth on her next time....keep some unsented baby wipes on hand. You might as well start buying a supply now....you're going to be using them anyway....wiping down those nipples to keep them free flowing and of course wiping her private area after she potties and her feet before putting her back in with the puppies...

She may have been bitting by something, check her ears to see if they're red...

Call doc...he may have you take her to the vet in the morning and more than likely want to consult with the vet.
