Here is a carpeted ramp that my husband built for Edith. She is demonstrating the proper use in the photo. We used scrap lumber and some inexpensive carpet....it probably cost $10 to make. It is clamped to the footboard and so it can be removed if necessary. It took Edie about 10 seconds to figure out how to use it, but of course she is a genius!!
