But that is just it. If they are concerned with the way the breed is headed, then take control of it.
The variety is there and the AKC has accepted the fact that the color occurs naturally, and people will always be breeding for that color. So if the YTCA is concerned that the traditionl color will be phased out, then why not accept the other colors and put their standards on them. That way they would have control over all yorkies.
Because just as with a pack of dogs, someone is going to take control, and if isn't the parent club, then somone else will and they might not like the end result.
Personally, it scares me what some people are trying to do with the partis. I would prefer that the parent club take control as to leave it to some of these people.
