What types of pet carriers can Customers bring?

Customers may bring a soft or hard-sided pet carrier that is leak proof and well ventilated. The pet carrier must be small enough to fit under the seat in front of the Customer and be stowed in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations. The dog or cat must be able to stand up and turn around in the carrier with ease.

I own and have used the SWA carrier and your baby should do fine in it. It is made very well and I wouldn't worry about the chewing it up It's also wide so your baby can spread out and take a nice nap. When you are carrying it with your baby in in it stretches a little to give it more height. It fits perfectly under SWA seats but I wouldn't recommend you sitting in the isle seat because they are more narrow underneath..
