When I first joined here I mentioned it but it hasn't come up since. My Lone Star Bella really doesn't have a tail. NO she wasn't born that way.
She was the product of a lady breeding two pets and her husband was to cheap to pay a vet and docked the tails himself! If that wasn't bad enough he cut them way to short and during healing their little tales all but disappeared. The vet said he was lucky because if it had been shorter it might have caused physical problems. (what a dipstick)
When I went to see the litter that was one of the first things I asked and boy did I read him the riot act. I can't believe someone would risk a dog for a few bucks. As it is I bought Bella because I got her for a very good pet price and we were looking for a pet. Good thing since I couldn't show her with no tail, right? She was a doll then and only gets better. She is a happy and healthy pup and I am thrilled with her but I wonder if anyone else has almost a no tail yorkie or is she UNIQUE. I know there are at least 4 others because she was from a litter of 5 and he did this to all of them.
