Different airlines have different size restrictions on under seat carriers, as well as other specifications about ventilation and openings (can't use a pet purse, etc).
I have used the Sherpa small carrier many times on Hawaiian Airlines, and their posted size limit is 16x10x9.5. A 4.5 lb dog easily fits in the small carrier, which is rated up to an 8 lb dog. |
