I'm also on the West side of Michigan in the Grand Rapids area. I took Pixie to puppy classes at Petsmart and the only other puppy in the class was a Doberman and Pixie was a little standoffish at first but warmed up to him very fast. It did help with the social and she loves to see other people and dogs now. Pixie is 19 months old.
