Great to hear he's doing so well. I know I probably don't have to say this, but I will anyway. You were very, very lucky this time. Many, if not most, of these kinds of accidents don't turn out this well, and many are fatal. And I do hope you had your vet check him out for any not so obvious injuries, as these can cause major problems down the road. Good Luck in the future, I know you will be more careful. And don't take this personally, I just know from experience (yes, I sat down on my dog too) and want people to be aware of this type of accident. If even one dog can be spared by someone seeing this thread, then that is good thing.

I know you had him to the vet's, sorry for repeating, but it is very important especially in cases where there are no apparent injuries.
