Animal Smiley 019 hi everybody! from Olive & mommy

hello everyone! i'm happy to be a part of your community! i adopted my sweet olive two months ago! oh, i am so happy! she came from a rescuer in new middletown, oh who got her from an omish puppy mill. olive has no voice. she is a poor eater. her nerves are shot! the drop of an pencil on the floor sends her into a frenzy. she is soooo quiet. does not play with anything and she sleeps ALOT! but most of all, she is so precious and sweet. i know it may take many years for her to not look to be hurt, but i am going to do all that i can to let her know she is loved, loved, loved, and i won't allow anyone or thing to hurt her. she gives lots of kisses and loves to be held and hugged. but her breath is horrific. the rescuer said she is four years old, but the vet says based on her teeth she is at least eight years old. although, i spoke with a really nice lady today names shiela and she shed some light on puppy mill dogs. that is, that even the young ones have poor oral health and she may really be younger. i just love her. wonder if anyone has any suggestions on feeding. she has done well in the past with white rice, boiled chicken broth and a little chicken broth, boiled turkey neck meat and finely cut port. won't eat dry kibble even after moistening (think because she has some missing teeth). she loves sweet carrots. but i don't want her to miss out on her nutrients. recently lost my job so i can't afford animal insurance or vet visits. but as soon as i start working, i can provide health insurance for her first thing! God is keeping her healthy for right now. i have noooo idea what i am doing. just trying different things. this is my first pet since i was six years old. just this week though, she stopped eating even the little that she did. i'm worried that she's going to get sick. i will post a pic of her soon. in the meantime, any suggesstions on feeding, and please pray for us! thank you for letting me into your community!
