Since mine passed I have been asking people around the office if theirs are spayed, and suggesting to them to get it done. She died from pyrometra that couldn't be treated because she had chronic renal failure. She got really sick and really quick(i didn't even know about the CRF until i took her to the Evet), and I don't think people realize that pyrometra is very common in dogs because it doesn't rally happen in humans.
