you could try training her to sit, stay, and come for long periods of time. and practice it outside a lot after she learns. a book i read says to teach them while they are on a leash. that way if she does get excited and dashes off, if she is well trained you can get her back easily with those commands. Yorkies will always dash though if they see something interesting, ESP a rodent or bunny or anything fun to chase...so keep that in mind
