I have 2 friends who unknowingly scheduled their girls to be spayed the same day at different vets. One was a traditional spay and the other laser-spay. The traditional spay didn't want to eat for 2 days and had to have water given by syringe for about 12 hrs afterwards. She didn't seem to be "herself" for almost a week. The other one (laser) was up and wanted her dinner that night, began drinking on her own after about 1/2 an hour and was acting totally normal by the next morning. Hope this helps!
