I have 2 mealy amazons. My 1st one I saved from a house of rotten children who would beat the cage to quiet her. Her name is shana, when I got her she hated everyone, but I eventually one her over. Then I got JJ from a birdy petshop, she was tube fed too often on one side and has a very crooked beak, she needs to go to the vet 2-3x a year to grind the beak down on the sides, so it doesn't accidently break which could cause major issues, like starving to death. Shana doesn't talk, and JJ laughs, does different sounds and says a few words. Their favorite thing to do is bath time, either in the bathtub, outside hose, or even spray bottle. JJ actually hangs upside and sticks her head in her water dish, she is a monkey.
