I didn't mind them selling the hair to offset costs, but it sounds like they are making more money than most businesses.

Here's an article on selling your hair. How to Sell Your Hair - wikiHow, because you cannot take a tax deduction for selling a part of the body, it's better tax-wise to sell your hair yourself, and then donate the money to charity, and then take a tax deduction. Sounds like a lot of work though. Have you tried selling it on E-bay?

Seriously, I don't mean to be joking, I was just so shocked when someone suggested it wasn't a legitmate charitiy, and I thought I'd be able to find lots of information to prove otherwise, but the reverse it true. I have not done what I'd call a through investigation.
