that is my guess as white foam means the stomach is empty, yellow means there is still bile in the vomit so not totally empty and then there is vomit with food in it.
Regurgitation vs vomitting is regurg is when they vomit with no effort meaning their stomach is not pumping to vomit so it is effortless and that is usually tied to the esophagus and does not sound like what is going on. I am thinking you need to feed 3-4 times a day smaller meals throughout the day.
