Weeeeellll, I went through about 5 vets first. And a lot of misdiagnoses. And being ticked off.

At that point, I went to a Vet Derm (both boys) - this was the start of Wylie being Dx w/ Atypical Cushings and Hypothyroid (um, when his last vet said he was *totally* fine ) and Marcel was started on Atopica for allergies (when the last vet told me he could not be on Atopica, period ). From there, I had to see an Internist for Wylie.

From there I needed to find a new generalist though, so I did some searches online "best vet in Phoenix" and looked at some of our local "Best Of" lists. Then I also remembered a clinic I had first brought Wylie to when we first came here. I called there on a few different days (it's a muti-vet practice) and asked different receptionists for vet recommendations -- and also asked to speak w/ a tech. I asked a lot of different questions, and then decided, based upon all that I had looked into. At this practice, there are 2-3 vets that I really like, but I see one in particular and she is really great - Wylie is a frequent flyer, of course, w/ having Atypical Cushings.
