I am with you on this one. I have bred yorkies for years and this past summer I had a teenie tiny little girl. She has health issues (scoliosis, enlarged heart, lung issues) and I chose to keep her here instead of rehoming her. She is almost 9 months old and weighs one and a half pounds. This is the little girl I had to do CPR on about 2 months ago from aspirating antibiotics for her teeth (clindamyacin). Her teeth are now infected again as her adult teeth are trying to come in and are pushing her baby ones sideways into her cheeks and it has become painful to her. I now must get her teeth pulled and will go ahead and spay her at that time. I am scared to death. The vets have already told me she has a short life expectancy and I have been treating her like a queen. So tomorrow she goes in for the dental and the spay and her chances are low that she will make it through the surgery. So I will pray for your little one and mine too...
