my Yorkie has been vomitting for two months! It started after the haircut in Petshop store. At first I didn't get alarmed, it happened before occasionally. A year ago we had similar problem, took the dog to the vet, he prescribed Sulcrate suspension and it helped after 3 days.
This time he(same vet!) gave us a different medicine - Famotidine. It didn't help. Next visit we did the full checkup- xray, blood test, urine test, cost me a fortune. And new medicine - Cisapride. This medicine didn't help either, and once my dog had a seizures.
I asked for the initial Sulcrate- hopefully it may help.
I have an impression that my vet is going after the money, now he suggested to do ultrasound and gastroscopy.
And I blame myself why I didn't ask for that first medicine at the beginning? Do you think we lost too much time? Can she develop some serious condition?
Please, let me know, what esle I can do to help my dog. All the tests didn't show any problems and she is normal, joyfull and has a pretty good appetite. She is only 3 y.o.
I feed her now with gastro formula (can food). |
