Getting neutered didn't bother Puddie too much; he was pretty much his ol' self the next day (after the anesthesia was all gone). Bella wasn't much worse ... she was glued. To try to keep her quiet, I carried her a lot. She thinks she's a diva anyway, so being transported just reinforced it in her mind. She uses stairs, and won't get off the couch or the bed without them. So all I have to do is move them out of the way, and she's TRAPPED! Of course, being trapped on a king-size bed isn't all that bad ....
Good luck. It will be hard to keep her quiet, but maybe you could try for ust not too rambunctious? No rousing games of "fetch" ...
