Mary totally agree....people with children over 8 is always on a case to case basis only! My reasoning for not placing with children is so often the children are so involved in various activities and where does that leave the yorkie? At home? OR is the yorkie going to be involved in the children's activities? I know so many are involved in soccer, football or various other things and parents are so busy raising children my fear is the yorkie is going to be left at home alone. I know when my daughter was at home she was so involved in things and I was right there with her I had no time to take care of a toy dog. So that is why we always had bigger dogs with kids actually!
