I was told to always have a tube of Nutri-Cal if my yorkie's gums turn white and yorkie has low blood sugar. I got mine at Pet Valu. Rub the Nutri-Cal inside on the top of the mouth. I am not sure if it is available for you, but karo syrup is good too but if you don't have it then honey can be used. Yorkie's are prone to hypoglycemia so be careful.
