Wow! That was excellent advice that chattiesmom gave! I have suffered from severe chronic pelvic pain for the last 15 years and had 12 uterian surgeries and am about to have a full hysterectomy in 2 months and what she said was spot on! A pain specialist can give you alternative tools for your tool bag in dealing with pain on a daily basis! Some days are better than others but having the right professionals by your side helping you through is key! It took me awhile to find doctors who were right for me and my condition, ones that were sympathetic, believed me and didn't brush me off with comments like "it's all in your head!" sometimes it's takes vigilance to find the doctors who won't stop until they not only find a solution but the best course of action for you! Also finding other people (like chattiesmom) who have been there and can offer support is extremely helpful too! I loved the indian comment and can totally relate! If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to PM me as well! Will be praying for a speedy recovery, answers, the right professionals and people to come alongside and offer support! Hope you have a great day! Mary
