I for one have not seen one post on here that was negative. The YT'ers were simply pointing out that 'reputable breeder' and 'teacup yorkie' do not go together.
Honestly whether the newbie is either looking or has already purchased a puppy, they do need to be informed of the scam of "teacup yorkies". And yes, it is a scam in my eyes. If the main yorkie organizations, including the AKC plainly state that there is NO such thing as a teacup yorkie, then selling a yorkie as a teacup just to make more money off of it is a scam!
Now, as to how the people are given the information... I believe that if you are old enough to own a dog then you should be old enough to take information that is given to you without being offended. Some people are blunt and to the point and some people tend to sugar coat things more. Thats Life! You will deal with different people and their methods of giving you information everywhere you go. If we were dealing with young children here, I could see the need to sugar coat and be sweet more often. I'm not advocating being downright rude, and I have not seen anyone on this thread be mean.
YT is an online, public community full of EXTREMELY knowledgeable people that LOVE the yorkie breed. I'm proud of YT and the firm stand that they take about Responsible yorkie ownership.
Keep up the good work, YT!
