I think it's sad when newbies and people who already own their dogs get blasted for making a mistake! Not saying that's what happened here in this thread... I'm just saying! People need to be informed about the right way and wrong way to purchase a yorkie but if the dog already exists it's a completely moot point! If that is the case it's time to teach them how to be a great owner of the dog they have and they will soon learn from all the bazillion threads on YT how to refer others in going about the right way to buy a yorkie. Don't think anyone who is trying to be informed should be blasted or fussed at simply because they are uneducated or use the wrong terms! Info on this thread was very informative and like someone said above everyone starts in their knowledge somewhere! YT is great for positively influencing people to buy the right way and then be great owners of the dogs we have already! I have 3 yorkies and 2 of them are not standard yorkies and they have fantastic tempermants, are great with my kids and are extremely healthy! What works for one person may not be what works for another but we can all support the influencing peole interested in this breed on right way to go about purchasing a yorkie!! |
