doesn't it have something to do with the eye reflection color in pics? Silky reflects green and cottony reflects (I forgot) red or gold??? and puppies always reflect blue. I haven't gotten a good pic of Katie at night with flash, but I think she is cotton. Her hair grows fast and is very fluffy. After I used a good conditioner on her, now her hair is very soft and easily brushed. But I still would not consider her as "silky".
Now Uni is a silky for sure. Slow growing coat, and thin hair. Hardly mats.
