Is the same food always used to test? Was the pre# normal?
I'm not sure you are going to be able to do much if internist doesn't want to, but all I can tell you is I don't think I'd want to wait 3 months to recheck. I also think since there are more bile acids problems, supplementation and/or diet change is probably not a bad thing.
