Dogs eat by smell which is the reason that canned food works so well when they are refusing to eat~it has a very strong smell. My suggestion would be to try to sprinkle a little Parmesan cheese on the food to see if this will stimulate interest in the food. If you begin feeding chicken and rice too often this will just encourage the picky eating. Also cut out the treats that you are feeding. You might not even realize that you are giving treats to excess but Yorkies do not need much food and just a few treats will be enough to discourage eating of kibble.
