I encourage pet owners to get involved the the AKC, I think the AKC needs to recognize the needs of pet owners as well as breeders. When pet owners start registering maybe the AKC will take some of our concerns more seriously and we will have a larger voice. Otherwise the AKC will listen to those that have the largest voice and that may be commercial breeders.
