How did you manage to keep your puppy calm during the healing process? My little boy yorkie pup (Riley) fell off his puppy stairs and in doing so fractured his left rear tibia right by the growth plate. Surgery was done by an Ortho. Spcst. later that week, and now we are in recovery process. No cast, sutures come out Friday and then in 2 weeks we go back for x-rays and removal of pins. he has been kept either in his crate, or a puppy pen or in a lap but he is just chomping at the bit to go play. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
