Good news 'bout Sadie and good luck to you!
My daughter was a certified vet tech once upon a time, but had to give it up because it tore her to pieces. Not to mention the odd menagerie we ended up with because of foundlings and the like. She donated a lot of her time to the wildlife rescues ... it suited her more than being around pets who ended up being put down because their owners couldn't afford treatment. That tore her UP.
