I think the local meet ups are weird sometimes. I'm signed up with a local meetup group too, and there are random people that just sign up, show up once or twice, then all of a sudden, "Hey guys, I have puppies for sale!" One guy even boasted the puppies had a 2 lb mom! I wasn't the only one who said something about the size of the mom, but then some other person complained to quit it with the mass emails bc everyone was getting them. You can't really win with these people sometimes. The most I do now is suggest they come to YT and read up. Needless to say, I do smaller playdates now, rather than group meetups. |
Probably bought herself a designer teacup and now is way over her head with the poor pup. I remember one of the meetups, where Priscilla was late, and this older couple was showing off one of the recent mommies (all pups had been adopted out) and she was TINY! My guess she was 3 lbs max. I held my tongue because I was new to the group and in comparison I had a giant way off standard yorkie. The elderly couple were long time members and everyone in the group loved them and their pups, I think I would have been bashed if I did say something.
