Default Sophie is lethargic...and just seems 'off'....

I don't know what to do.

My boss won't give me the night off (well, my mom is my boss and will let me stay home...but her boss is the one who is telling her I have to come in) so I can take my Sophie to the vet. Since about Sunday, she just hasn't seemed right. She has been quieter than normal (she's 9 months old...so this is unusual for her), barely wanting to eat, she shakes even when she is under blankets and wearing a sweater, I noticed green poop last night and her skin doesn't fully spring back (so I think she is dehydrated).

She just seems to want to sleep and I don't know if this makes any sense, but she acts like she is in trouble all the time - timid, nervous, doesn't want to be held.

I gave her some corn syrup because she has suffered from hypoglycemia in the past and it is all I have access to at the moment, and tried getting her to drink..but she just seems blah.

She acts 'normal' once in awhile - like she was chasing our cats around last night and ate some of her baby food (she prefers it over regular dog treats/wet food). But then, she just went to sleep.

I am just so nervous about her not being with anyone tonight. I work from 3-9 and I don't get home until around 10pm...and my fiance works from 3-midnight...so she will be alone.

I am going to try to make an appointment with my vet (I only trust one in the practice, and she is usually booked) ... they typically are good with emergencies. I wasn't planning on having to spend money that I don't have (we are picking up wedding items this weekend), but money is no option when it comes to Sophie.

I don't know why I am posting this...maybe for suggestions or ideas of what is going on with her. I will still be taking her to the vet, I just would like to hear other experiences.
