I think it is pretty unlikely that the line will disintegrate, so you probably have to just hope the dog will pass it through.....that is, after you take him to the vet! Despite my herculean efforts, Daisy still manages to get ahold of paper occasionally (she goes bats for any kind!) and she will poop this out relatively undigested. I'm just saying that this doesn't have to be a disaster....but do have the vet check things out to be sure.
