This isn't normal, right? This struck me as really creepy. Who asks $1400 for a sick dog who is on a special diet?

What is going on here? Should I do anything? This kind of makes my tummy hurt.

I mean, when you are trying to adopt out your dog for the right reasons, do you really charge money? And if you do, is it really that much? I know adoption organizations charge money to adopt...and rightfully so. I just can't imagine sending out a random e-mail to random strangers and trying to profit off of a sick dog that I supposedly care about that my supposed other dog is supposedly bullying. I don't like this. Not one bit.
Really sad...

Can you PLEASE tell her to contact either of these two rescues, tell her they have wonderful people and Vets who are very, very experienced with both Liver Shunts and MVD. Sounds like this little guy does have a Liver Shunt or MVD and she should NOT be selling him off like that...He NEEDS special care for his liver issues....

Even if she doesn't want to turn him over to a rescue, they will certainly "guide and help her"

Both of these rescues have a TON of Liver Shunt and MVD experience:
