I agree with you here, and that why supporting the best breeders we can find is so important. It's not about the dogs as being better or worse, it's about the breeders, and their reasons for breeding. There are some breeders who are mainly in it for the money, and those breeders will never improve the breed. If every dog could find a great home, I would not have a problem with whatever people were breeding, and then I would agree with those who say, "It's nobody's business what I breed", but with so many dogs needing homes and millions of dogs being put to sleep each year only because they aren't "cute enough"; I think it becomes everyone's business.
