He still gets startled rather easily though, esp considering the breed is known for being tough. He may have some digestive problems we are still getting checked out, but other than that he is a true joy. If i had a house instead of an apt i would def consider fostering animals..i dont know how i'd give them up at the end, lol, but i would love to do something like that to help these poor babies. I agree that anyone who has the opportunity should definitely consider fostering and helping out a sheltered animal.
UPDATE: Timmy still has digestive issues, but they seem to have been solved by feeding him very slowly. I am currently trying to train him to eat slower and chew his food. With doing this, and switching to Royal Canin, he has gained the weight he lost, and more he is now a 5.5 lb healthy boy and he has a TON more energy and is finally starting to pick on my pom the way she picks on him. lol I LOVE the new energy and happiness he has, and he is a TRUE JOY to be around.. he seems to be getting more comfortable around ppl as well
