I used to buy Merrick's bully sticks for Kacee and they didn't have that awful smell. Cha-Cha, I did buy some of the Red Barn brand a month or so ago to see if she'd like to chew on them again, but they smelled so bad I gagged and threw them out. They actually smelled like a dead carcass. Gagging just thinking about them...
