Yuki tried to swallow a Puppy treat whole and it lodged in his throat choking him. Please make sure that if you are giving your small puppies treats that you cut them into pieces so this never happens again.

I had a dream about Yuki last night - first time I've ever done that. He was running and playing, and I think he was letting me know that he's ok. Zane, it happens quickly when they choke. A couple of times, I've had to turn a puppy upside down and kind of smack it on their back when they eat a treat to quickly. Just today, one of them did it, and then she was crying and moving in like circles. I picked her up, did the same thing and then she . . . . burped!!! She was fine then, so it must have finished going down. Don't blame yourself at all, just don't ever leave the room until they are done with a treat -- that's what we do. You were the best to Yuki, and I know he loved you as much as you loved him. He's at peace, he let me know he was.
