You are lucky you get to take Gus to church and all those places. I was on my way to bring Lacey to the vet because she had to have fluid shots 3 times a week. Because of her kidney failure. But, I had to stop for gas first. I was totally on empty. And Lacey would throw a fit if I left her in the car. And I did not want to leave in her condition and it was 90 degrees out. So, I brought her in the gas station to pay for my gas. And the lady was very rude and hollered at me. She was in my arms and it was only for 1 minute. The only places she got to go with me was the post office and Petsmart. She once slept in Sears after Hurricane Andrew hit and we were waiting for a generator. They let an exception for dogs that day.
