I am so sorry! Just today my little Penny got out of our gate. I had let her out back to play, and after 15 minutes noticed she was gone. I freaked out, and started calling her name. Our neighbor across the street said he saw a lady walking with a baby in a stroller, and she picked up a small dog that was in the street. She headed away with it. I was so scared, but I continued to drive up and down every street calling her and asking every person that was outside. It worked, because several people I talked to saw the lady. I finally got to a group of children who were out in a yard 6 blocks from my house. I stopped to ask if they had seen her. They pointed to the house across the street. A guy had her on a leash. He seemed like he was waiting to see if someone came by looking for a lost dog. My story had a happy ending, so don't give up hope. Go all over the neighborhood and talk to everyone. Someone may have seen him. I will definitely make sure my gate is secure. |
