I would be devastated to leave Mr.Darcy at a vets - in a cage - I always 'think' as I think he 'thinks'! if you know what I mean! If you can't leave him somewhere (and can't take him) what about someone you know and trust to come and stay at your place? I, too, take Mr.Darcy with me - in cabin on flights. I used to take Toffee everywhere, too. We used to sneak her in hotel rooms under my coat, if they weren't 'pet friendly'!
