I was sitting in here yesterday, while Kacee was on the back of the couch in the next room looking out the windows. All of a sudden she came running in to me and started making all of these strange noises - not barking - like she was trying to talk. Anyway, I asked her what? and followed her into the next room and she hopped up on the back of the couch again and we both looked out the window. There it was! A huge flock of starlings! That's what she was trying to tell me - that they were coming and flying over the house. Every spring and fall they do this. They fly over of a morning and again the other way in the evening. She always tells me about them! Only I had forgotten.  |
