I agree with the above poster. Find a relative, or if that is not possible, a private boarding facility where they are walked, given play time, free time, and someone around the entire time.

My wife is the same as you are, but we have a terrific daughter that steps up and watches the Yorkie, while the Cane Corso goes to his training facility that he loves. I am convinced that my wife would cancel a trip if she had to have Maxine sitting in a cage all day, even though, they will most likely do a great job.

I think she frets more over the dogs now than she did when the kids were small....but the dogs never get mad at you, and are always in by curfew!
