I feel a bit silly about this, but if anyone can understand, I know someone here will.

We are going away for 6 days and are boarding Roxie at the vet's office. I had a friend lined up to take her, but she backed out, and we had no other choice. I get so upset every time I think about Roxie sitting in that little cage all day by herself. I was crying about it before, and my boyfriend thought I was nuts.

Is there anything I can do to make this easier? I don't want our trip to be ruined by me obsessing over the dog the whole time.
