About pills and rolling on to the floor, I read a good tip here a long time ago and use this method now.
I store all meds in a drawer and dispense them into my hand over the open drawer. If any pill falls, it will go into the drawer and not onto the floor, where it could be missed by us or snatched up by a quick yorkie. |
I am so glad to hear that Bella is ok. That is such a good idea Jen about taking pills over the open drawer. I don't take daily meds but DH takes BP and Cholesterol meds. I am constantly telling him to be careful. I had him read this thread yesterday because I think sometimes he thinks I am just being anal because I am always telling him to be careful whether it be food or meds. This thread really scared him, so something good came from it for me personally.
