Just keep at it with Duncan. Every doorway in your house, you go through first, them have him follow. He'll get the hint real soon. It also teaches him to always look and follow you for direction. He will realize he doesn't do anything unless you tell him to or give the ok too. Easier said than done, I know, but just keep working at it. He'll get it!  |
This is great advice. Raley is not allowed through any door unless he is behind us....I have taught him that he must sit/stay and wait. It is something that I work with him on during each day. Consistency is the key!!!
